With Iggy no longer considered to be a Cyclone landfall threat, we’re going to begin shifting our attention into the Coral Sea. No development is anticipated in this area for the next 72 hours. The monsoon trough may become active thereafter, and there is at least a moderate chance of development within the next seven days. Preliminary guidance suggests the potential for Tropical low formation near the Queensland coast, followed by a track toward the east. The keyword is preliminary.
Updates will become more frequent if warranted.
