28storms.com is primarily a United States-focused weather website. However, 28storms has expanded its coverage to include southern Pacific and Australian tropical cyclones. This was an easy decision after receiving unanimously positive feedback from countless viewers in response to our video analysis of Tropical Cyclone Yasi. 28storms analysis is conducted by a group of meteorology undergraduates in America that have over a decade of experience in tracking Atlantic hurricanes and other tropical cyclones around the globe. Such a tracking history combined with personal loss following Hurricane Katrina has given us the ability and passion to easily convey detailed information to the general public.
