Flooding In South East Asia is cuasing headaches for many in the region. Around Malaysia many have had to deal with the rising waters from the stronger than average south west monsoon. Not just here but also Vietnam and the Philippines are contending with low pressure areas dumping above 100mm in several metro areas in the past 24hrs. Also in todays update we look at China, Korea and Japan where thunderstorm activity has been cuasing damage and deaths. But the North East monsoon is starting to show signs to the north. Its the 3rd of September 2012 and to start off your week we have todays update across the western pacific, a good news monday this week though as no named tropical systems are look to be developing through the start of the week. Yet by the end of the week a few areas to the of the Philippines may start to show signs yet we will have a better handle and idea on the development of this areas as we work trough the coming days. Also over Japan strong storms dropping heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are blowing up cuasing travel headaches and also bringing risk of low lying flooding in some out the hilly terrain of the countries Eastern Coastlines.
