This is our latest Video Update on Tropical Storm Tembin (Bagyong Igme) as it meanders east of Luzon. The system is enhancing some showers across Northern Luzon and is also bringing breezy conditions across Isabela and Cagayan (both under Signal #1). Tembin will continue intensifying and should begin turning more to the north later tonight. Based on current projections, this storm will likely make landfall in Taiwan by as early as Thursday as a Category 1 typhoon. The video also gives an update on yet another two disturbances near Guam–both of which could develop into a cyclone in the next 2 to 3 days. Invests 97W and 98W are slowly consolidating near the Marianas. 97W seems to be the dominant system and could absorb 98W in the next few days. The potential cyclone is forecast to turn westward under the Subtropical Ridge and could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday.
